TIBET XForms support approaching completion.

XForms support is constucted as a "custom tag set" in TIBET. To support that tag set we started with the W3C standards XForms relies on like XML Schema, XML Events, XML Base, XInclude, etc. Work on these standards is now complete. We're nearing completion on our cross-browser CSS support code so you can leverage standards-compliant CSS in your authoring process. Data binding work is undergoing final development now. Through our extended XML Events module you can integrate TIBET's XForms features with the rest of TIBET's "AJAX" features to maximize your development options. We anticipate shipping preliminary examples of XForms with the next EA release.

Team TIBET announces initial Turbo TIBET product lineup

Based on feedback from our Early Access program we're announcing a three-tiered product line starting with TIBET Lite, a TIBET package containing the cross-browser primitives which form the basis of the TIBET "language" and which provide the functionality most developers think of as AJAX. TIBET Lite offers the industry's most comprehensive AJAX library including DOM, DHTML, XMLHTTP, WebDAV, File, XSLT, XPath, XML logging, and security primitives. TIBET Pro builds upon this foundation to provide the core object functionality of TIBET as well as our most common library features including web services access, custom tag development and more. TIBET Enterprise includes the features of TIBET Pro and adds support for XForms and XMPP, letting you build advanced workflow-based web applications. All TIBET library products will continue to be licensed under our dual-license model using the OSI-approved Reciprocal Public License and the closed-source Technical Pursuit License. TIBET's development tools, the TIBET Developer Console (TDC), and TIBET Application Portal (TAP(tm)) will be licensed separately under the TPL.
